Bosnian model Andrej Pejic, famed for being the poster boy for fashion androgyny has not only walked on runway shows for high fashion labels like Jean Paul Gaultier, he has also modelled bridal couture.
It was during one such fashion show in Beijing that 100 Chinese teens lined up to meet him. He felt that to be so warmly received in a country where cross-dressing is still taboo was validation that people there were comfortable with him appearing as he really is.
The flaxen haired Pejic, 21, is in town for the Digital Fashion Week.
