Staying true to Pejic's signature androgynous style, Myer women's designer Yeojin Bae has been recruited to create a show-stopping, two-piece suit for his arrival at the retail giant's revamped city store opening.
Bae is creating a sparkling blazer Pejic will pair with shimmering gold trousers for his grand entrance at the celebrity-studded Bourke St store bash next Thursday.
Pejic was overlooked for a role in last week's L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, but Myer jumped at the opportunity to roll out the ruby rug for the modelling world's biggest star, even extending an invitation to his mother, Jadranka, who will be wearing an outfit designed by fellow Myer label Jane Lamerton especially for the occasion.
Pejic will greet customers at Bourke St with Myer ambassadors Jess Hart and Jennifer Hawkins next
Wednesday.
Respected Melbourne men's and women's wear designer Arthur Galan, recently pinched by Myer from retail arch rival David Jones, will have his most high-profile assignment to date, making Pejic a special suit for his appearance.
