On top of reaching countless milestones in the fashion and beauty industry as a trans model, Andreja Pejic has also joined Taylor Swift's squad, landed aneditorial in Vogue, and become the face of Make Up For Ever's bold campaignalongside Jamie Chung. And clearly, there's no stopping her, as Andreja Pejic has been featured in The Love Magazine's latest issue. The four-page spread that she received was artistically shot by Solve Sundsbo and featured her amidst jungle greenery in a huge statement sun hat.

Pejic, along with the rest of the transgender community, has been receiving a consistent flow of support and editor-in-chief of Love Magazine, Katie Grand, wishes to keep it going. In the editorial, much of Pejic's struggles and strides that she has made in finding her identity definitely comes off the pages. From the lack of initial support from her family to finding the courage to share her story, Pejic opens up about gender fluidity and how society is slowly becoming more accepting and understanding. The flawless model said, "I do believe gender is a spectrum, and there are people that feel they are in the middle. But I’ve always felt I was a woman, and I’ve done every thing I can to live life as a woman. I feel I just have to be accepted as who I am and be given the same opportunities."

Considering all her experiences as the first transgender model to be profiled in Vogue and the first transgender model to be face of a cosmetics campaign, she has truly been an inspiration for the trans youth community. She tells her growing experiences in a raw way such as the time when she was, "very feminine as a kid, and then I started to come out of that and was told the message by my family, by society, that it was time to grow up and be a boy."

2015-7-22 Andreja Pejic Opens Up About How "Brave and Progressive" Taylor Swift Is

When Andreja Pejic decided to attend Taylor Swift 's concert in Chicago with best friend Damon Baker, she had no idea it would turn out to be one of the best nights of her life. Only the day before the concert did Pejic find out that she would not only be going to T.Swift's concert, she would also be walking onstage with her!

The Australian model opens up to E! News exclusively about her dream come true, and couldn't help but gush about the "Style" crooner.

"She is honestly the sweetest person ever and we clicked really well, it all just felt very natural, Her family was so lovely! They all definitely gave me a level of appreciation that is rare," she tells us.

Even though meeting one of the world's biggest stars could have been intimidating, Pejic tells us that Swift made her feel right at home with her now-famous celebrity squad.

"Taylor's energy was infectious and really helped me feel comfortable and allowed me to just have fun up there and let go," she says.

Looking back, Pejic still can't believe how open and warm Swift was to her, especially since she's such a powerhouse, A-list celebrity.

"You know what it's something I am definitely still processing," she explains to us. "I honestly didn't expect such a mainstream star of her level to be so welcoming and supportive.

"I feel like it's pretty brave and progressive of her and ultimately makes people more accepting of differences," she adds. "We may not all be born exactly the same but we're all human and at the end of the day we all want the same basic things out of life."

Swifties have been in the know of her kindness for quite sometime, as the "Bad Blood" singer has been surprising them with different gifts for years! She also has been giving her fans the sweet present of other talent, as she continues to bring other famous performers onstage with her to sing some duets. Whether it's Nick Jonas or Sam Smith, crowds are getting more than they bargained for on her 1989tour.

Transgender Model Andreja Pejic Had Never Met Taylor Swift Before Being Pulled Onstage

She is tall, leggy, bombshell blonde, and part of Taylor Swift’s ever-expanding girl squad. But though Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, and Martha Hunt also fit that description, we’re not talking about them. Instead, we’re currently obsessed with Swift’s newest BFF contender, a Bosnian-born, Australian-raised model named Andreja Pejic.

A 23-year-old Virgo, Pejic is signed with the prestigious Society Management, which also boasts Kendall Jenner and Grace Jones (really) on its roster. She’s modeled for Marc Jacobs and DKNY. And she was born biologically male, as Andrej Pejic—though she underwent gender reassignment surgery over a year ago.

We spoke with Pejic at the Pixels x Yahoo Style dinner last night about video games and model icons—but mostly about T-Swift, because, hello.

Yahoo Style: Pixels is a movie about killer video games. Would you survive in a Nintendo battle?

Andreja Pejic: I think so, because I played a lot of Mortal Kombat growing up. I was quite good at it, to be honest! I was a very good video game fighter.

YS: Which video game character should be a style icon?

AP: The girl in Mortal Kombat! The one I always played—[Princess Kitana]. She’s tough but she still has great style… oh my gosh, Iman is over there. I love her.

YS: Is Iman your favorite model?

AP: I don’t have favorites, but I’m definitely in love with her. I was in the David Bowie video [for The Stars Are Out Tonight] and I was so excited knowing she could see it.

YS: We have to ask—how was dancing with Taylor Swift onstage?

AP: Major. [Laughs.]

YS: How did it happen?

AP: The stars aligned, I guess. Taylor and I have a lot of friends in common, but I’d never met her before, although obviously I love her music. So we were going to her concert—me and Lily [Donaldson], and she requested that we come onstage. It was one of the most thrilling things I’ve ever done.

YS: What’s harder—being onstage with Taylor Swift, or walking in a couture show?

AP: You know, there were 60,000 people at that concert, so it can’t even compare it to a fashion show. But somehow, being up there still felt very natural. I don’t know if it’s because Taylor herself was so welcoming and calm backstage—and it really was just so lovely and calm backstage!

YS: You were twirling in some major heels… Were you scared?

AP: No, because I’m a classically trained ballerina.[Laughing.] No! But I guess I just learned from modeling how to handle high shoes. Who knew it would come in handy at a concert?!

YS: Besides being a newly minted T-Squad member, you’re also Make Up For Ever’s latest face. What else is coming up for you?

AP: Ah, lots of things… but I can’t tell you about them yet. So all I’ll say is, please stay tuned.
